Ride (Reader x Rivaille)

A/N: This was actually random. I just thought, "Hey the soldiers should be in good terms with their horse right? So they should choose the horse they are compatible with."

A bit crack.

PS: The company was complete. This means Eren was here in which Levi begrudgingly gave him the chance to meet his friend today with the persuasion from Hanji and Erwin will be here too! (DADDY BEAR XD)

It was the morning after the new graduates of the 104th trainee squad chose to join the Recon Corps when the officer handling them lead them to the stable and picked a horse to their liking.

"Hey Kirschtein, ready to meet your family?"
Asked the Eren teasingly and earning a snicker from the company.

"And yeah, should I always ask you that when we're going to an expedition?"
Jean growled back and gave him a smirk.

Eren scowled back and was about to get revenge when Mikasa gag his mouth with her handkerchief.

"Ohhh that's a nice come back Kirschtein!"
Laughed Reiner and giving Jean a pat on the back.

Moments later they arrived at their destination. Inside the stable was full of sturdy big horses that was bred especially for the expedition beyond the walls.

Minutes later, everyone already picked their horse and began feeding them to have the horse familiarize their new owner. But you haven't yet to choose a horse to your liking. No one stands out the rest of the horse for you. Scanning the whole stable once again and reaching the last stall, you heard some wild neighing in the back of the stable. Curious, you opened the back door and  saw a horse larger than the rest that was being tamed by the three soldiers but the horse was still no match for the three and began thrashing around, biting and kicking.

"No use, we've been taming this one for days but it just won't listen."
You heard one of them say as he tugs the rope down that was connected with the horse's neck.

"Yeah I agree, such a waste for this big fella, no one can tame him."
The other said, wiping the beads of sweat in his forehead.

"Aye! A real waste."
Agreed the other man, holding another rope.

Growing up in the mountains with your family who owns and bred horses for generations was used to deal with all kinds of horse (except for Jean).

"Uhm.... Excuse me! Maybe I could offer some assistance?"
You asked earnestly, hoping would say 'yes' as an answer.

The three soldiers caught your attention but instantly bursted in laughter.

"Sorry missy, but a little gal like you wouldn't last long with this big fella!"
The soldier pattered your shoulder.

Proudly standing 152.4cm tall (A/N: I’m using my height), you crossed your arms and held your head high and exclaimed, "I may be small but this little gal you're talking about can handle that big fella!"

"Well let's see that little missy."



An hour after arriving the stable, the new recruits was ordered to line up with their horses in front.

The high ranking officers arrived, once again meeting the new members of their legion.

"Well I suppose you all got your horses."
Said the commander in a calm voice.

Hanji began scanning each of the face of the new members, bringing her face close tohe them which made them cringe in discomfort.
"Hi everyone! Once again I'm Hanji Zoe~"

Passing Connie, she want back at him and brought her face closer to his which made the him bend back a little.
"Hmm... Oh! Look at you! You look so sharp!!"

"Oi shitty glasses, you're scaring them with your hideous face."
Remarked the corporal but Hanji took no attention to him and still continued her little 'greetings'.

"I wonder if someone will be interested to join me in my experiments."
She sing-songed, passing by one cadet to another.

"And you are one VERY VERY tall guy!"

In the background, a grunt was heard from the corporal.

When she finished up scanning them, she notices something. She quickly skidded up to the commander.
"Erwin, didn't you say there are new 10 recruits?"

The commander simply nod at her

"But there's only 9 of them?"

The commander raised his thick brow suspiciously.
"What?"

Rivaille began counting silently on his mind and his stoic face scowled.
"Tch. Shitty glasses is right. One brat was missing."

"Hey can you hear that?"
Hanji brought her hand to her ear in attempt to have a clearer sound in which all of them copied with the exception of the corporal.

They heard a galloping, wailing, shouting and yelling sound from nowhere.

"Yeeehawww! That's my boy!!"
You cheered with one hand holding the reins as the other giving gentle pats on its neck.

The attention of the people was instantly drawn to your shout and their mouth almost hang open in the sight.

You are riding in a bigger horse in which there are two soldiers being dragged with the ropes tangled to their arms and another soldier running in the back, trying to catch up.

"W-wait! I-I'll help you two!"
The running soldier yelled between his breaths.

"HHHHEEEEELLLLPPPPPPPP!!"
Cried the two soldiers in unison.

Once nearing the front of the stables, you halted your horse to a stop, earning a sigh from the two soldiers on the ground.

"That was fun! Right mister?"
You chirpped, mounting off from the horse.

The other soldier finally caught off and fell on his knees.
"This was one of a kind horse!" Said him between his breaths.

You untangled the rope from the two soldiers freeing them.
"There you go! And sorry about that..."

Turning around to face your friends, you stopped on your track to see all of them including the officers looking at you, bewildered.

Hanji was the first one to recover. She run of to you and thrown her arms around you.
"Oohhhhh I like you already!"

"Wow did you see (First name)? She looked so cool riding with all that adrenaline!"
Krista exclaimed bringing her hands together.

"Yeah? I can ride better than her."
Ymir said, her voice hinted with jealousy.

"Man I'm hungry."
Whined Sasha, leaning against her horse lifelessly.

"Hey let's sneak up to the kitchen later."
Suggested Conner which instantly brought Sasha into life.

"Maybe she is a horse whisperer then maybe she can make Kirschtein more obedient!"
Joked Eren and once again bringing snicker from the company.
(A/N: Does anyone watch Dog Whisperer? XD)

"Oi Jeager, you are asking for a fight?"
Growled Jean at him and putting up his fighting stance

"E-Eren... Hey Mikasa stop them!"
Armin said to his childhood friend Mikasa as he panics.

Mikasa puts on her guard, readying herself to counter Jean when he attacked her family.

"Well this is going to be interesting."
Reiner began caressing his jaw with a smirk on his face.

While Hanji was pulling you into a bear hug, two set of eyes were watching you.

"Well that's one interesting cadet. She smoothly rode that horse which the others find hard to tame.
Murmured the commander to the corporal next to him.

The corporal smirked.
"Well let's see if she can tame and ride me like that."

The unexpected statement made the commander chuckle.
"Well, she's in for one rough ride."
